Need for heroes

There are ancient legends, all over the world, about The Four Guardians of the Light, the spiritual beings or Gods that keep the balance in our world. There are many names for them, depending on the times and civilizations…. The four of them together make the Sphynx… the one before all Gods… Each one of them has a representative image, element, position etc. according to his/her qualities and tasks.

The one haunting me the most is the Lady with: the Lion, fire, south, justice … she wore the names of Hecate, Sekhmet, Diana …

One night, I had a dream. She was showing me the movie of one of my past lives, on a different planet; it was intense, considering the images came with the feelings of that person also… so that night, I was a man, blond and bold….

I had a normal life, normal school, I studied a lot; the best of my class… went to the best university and studied a hell of a lot more, practiced a lot… And I became a negociator, a politician. I had to study all tactics, laws, history, economics, psychology, everything! A conflict was supposed to be solved in different manners, according to the problem, and no flaws were allowed! Everybody had to be happy with the result, else I was a failure.

So one day, there was a huge conflict, between miners and the rest of the population; it was on the brink of civil war. I was selected, because of my experience and wisdom, to solve that conflict. I had to get into the mines, with the angry mod, see what they were complaining about, what their demands were, why the rest of the population could not oblige and so on… nobody wanted to listen to the other side…. I had to leave my wife and 2 kids, and risk my life for several years… but all went well in the end. I was considered a hero, and I considered myself exhausted and lucky to have a family to go back to…

So, when I woke up, I was happy: yes! Now I know why I never wanted to be a leader! Why it was so much against my instincts and my beliefs! A real leader should know the limits of his leaches, should not push them too hard, should give them help and support, should make peace (stress never leads to good results) and so on… and the examples we have as leaders, are so much the opposite of what is needed! Corrupt, cruel, incompetent, coward, insensitive, crazy…. This is what you get, this is what I never wanted to become!

And now I finally understood why….

I also understood this: the real spirituality and evolution is not alone, by yourself! If you isolate yourself, you’re useless! People don’t understand the obvious; they feel it, but won’t accept the truth. If you’re alone, you’re disposable, a failure; the real peace and harmony is related to the others. We are waiting for heroes, for saviours: one guy who does it all! While we do nothing, or just follow! This is how we’re educated; we have the worst possible social system ever! We want one ruler, just one, the rest should follow: in society, in work etc.

Look at the humanity’s history: we get from one genocide to another! Matriarch, patriarch…. It’s all the same! None is ok! More minds working together can take the correct decisions; but for us, a council only means more problems! All because of this stupid education: one leader! There is no feedback, no group synergy, no common goal…

They have no idea what they defend, what they fight for, their priorities, their needs, their goals…. All want to be THE STAR! The hero!

So, we are educated to need heroes, to be and feel more alone, more lost…

And once in a while, we have this “wave of spirituality”, when people try to find themselves, to reconnect, to have friends again… and after that, another fever for heroes! It’s all in our genes, right?! All those wars, genocides, suffering, all decided by leaders obsessed with power, to rule the society and make religions and social laws and rituals…

We are educated to need heroes! To feel alone and desperate! To get no help and justice until afterlife or judgement day! When nobody will need it…

We have a saying: a flower does not make a spring! How true! But a field filled with flowers does! So, I decided I wanted to be one in a group, but I want all to think, to understand what is needed and usefull and what is not! Let’s take Coanda, for eg. He built the most modern type of planes. We cannot imagine our world without them, without his work, so he was really needed. What if he would have had the idea a few hundred years before? He would have been tortured and killed, burnt on cross or something similar! I don’t want to be a wise fool! Nor to be in a group of assassins! I want to be like Tesla or Coanda, whatever the topic: psychology, physics, maths… I want to be one of those who bring the spring. A real master (sensei) has the effect of a flower on your soul: to lift it! To bring the standards higher! Whether it’s technology, or psychology or other form of healing or… so, I chose Reiki, because there are so many who pretend to be masters and teachers, but not one of them can tell you what a true teacher really is…

  2. You are right when you say that we are educated to need heroes, to feel alone and desperate and I think that “someone” wants intentionally to keep us vulnerable. One think is true: we are here to fight whit vanity and learn to beat our pride, our vanity. All wars in this world that could be held in the name of justice or faith had based immense pride. And what’s worse we don’t recognize that we are proud and our actions may have adverse effects until it is too late and damage has been done. Or maybe it is written to be. Leaders like Buddha, Jesus did not have egos; they come to teach us to find ourselves. Only if we know who we are and what we can do we will live without fear and we will therefore not be vulnerable.

By the way, did you know that at an aerospace sciences institute in England teachers who prepare future specialists do not know who Henry Coanda was?

  3. Dear Sahasrara, how would help your spiritual life if teachers in UK would say that the romanian Henri Coanda invented the jet engine ?

We have to see the bigger picture and not let details like nationality/race divide us.

By saying "That inventor was from my country!" only helps our false EGO.

He was a soul who temporary visited our planet and was able to take some information from Akasha and make it available for the rest of us.

Don't get into the "Divide et impera" game that was played since early ages.

  4. Dear Catalin C., calm down, by making the observation about Coanda I only intend to emphasize the irony of fate.

  5. Look for everyday heroes... people that you can learn something from, people that give you hope, not lectures...
